The Ogden, Utah reunion is in the books. The reunion was a big success. There were over 40 people in attendance.
At our business meeting we elected Andrew Jacoff from New York as our new president. We want to thank Jim Patterson for his hard work while serving as our president. Jim is recovering from back surgery and could not attend. We pray for his full recovery. Again, thank you, Jim.
Norfolk, Virginia is our 2027 reunion location. Mark Stephens is working on the details. Registration forms should be out in February. The association voted to go to Buffalo, New York for our 2028 reunion.
While at our meeting the mayor of Ogden came and spoke to us. He emotionally thanked us for our service on the Ogden. Fox 13 from Salt Lake City came and did a piece about our association. It was aired on Wednesday night and again on Thursday morning. Well done. We are TV stars. LOL. The video is posted on Facebook. Laurence Burton, whose mother christened the ship, brought the memorabilia from the christening. He spoke about being there as a 5 year old to watch the event.

Just learned of the passing of Plank Owner Jim Williamson of Pensacola. Jim has been a long time member of our association, serving many years as our president. He will be sorely missed. Please pray for Jim's family. Fair winds and following seas, Mate!!

Claude Johnson from Florida has passed. Claude was 3rd class Engineman on board in 1968 to 1970. Claude attended our last San Diego reunion. Fair winds and following seas, mate.
